Identity & access
Microsoft Entra ID, multi-factor authentication, conditional access and least-privilege admin.
Cybersecurity
Small and growing businesses face the same threats as large ones, without the security team. We build the controls into the IT we already manage, run them every day, and tell you plainly where you stand.
Technologies we work with
What we put in place
Most breaches at this size are not sophisticated. They are a password without MFA, an unpatched laptop, or a mailbox rule nobody noticed. These are the controls that close those routes.
Microsoft Entra ID, multi-factor authentication, conditional access and least-privilege admin.
Microsoft Defender or Sophos on every managed device, with alerts that reach a human.
Anti-phishing, link and attachment protection, impersonation rules and mailbox auditing.
Tenant configuration reviewed against Microsoft baselines, not left at the defaults.
Managed firewall rules, segmentation and secure remote access for staff and suppliers.
Operating systems and third-party software kept current on a schedule you can see.
Regular scanning, with findings triaged by risk rather than handed over as a raw list.
Round-the-clock monitoring of security signals, with defined escalation when something fires.
Short, practical training and simulated phishing so staff know what to look for.
Protected, off-site copies and tested restores — the control ransomware actually runs into.
A defined process for containment, investigation, recovery and a written account afterwards.
A clear picture of where you are today, what matters most, and what it takes to fix it.
Zero Trust, in practice
Zero Trust is not a product you buy. It is a set of decisions about who can reach what, from which device, under what conditions — applied consistently. For a business of 10 to 150 people, most of it is configuration you already own and are not yet using.
The impact
Reduce risk, strengthen resilience and keep your business moving.
Reduce the chance and the impact of a cyber attack.
Keep your operations, data and people productive.
Help meeting requirements such as NIS2 and GDPR.
Protect your brand, your customers and your business relationships.
Strengthen your security posture
Practical ways to identify risk, close gaps and get ready for what comes next.

How we work
We review identities, devices, Microsoft 365, network and backup, and write down what we find.
Findings are ranked by real risk to your business, with the quick wins separated from the projects.
We put the controls in place in a planned order, so security improves without stopping work.
Monitoring, patching, reviews and reporting continue as part of your managed service.
When something does happen
No set of controls reduces risk to zero. What separates a bad afternoon from a bad quarter is whether there is a plan, whether the backups restore, and whether someone answers the phone. We agree all three in advance.
Why CaminhoIT
Plenty of businesses have bought security tools. Far fewer have someone reviewing the alerts, closing the findings and testing the restores. Because we manage the IT as well, the controls are part of day-to-day operations rather than a separate product you are left to run yourself.
Questions
Almost all attacks on businesses of this size are opportunistic rather than aimed at you specifically: automated password attacks, phishing sent to thousands of addresses, and exploitation of software that has not been patched. Being small does not keep you out of that net — it usually just means there is less in place to stop it.
Microsoft 365 contains a great deal of security capability, but a new tenant is configured for compatibility rather than for safety. Multi-factor authentication, conditional access, external sharing limits, mailbox auditing and retention all need deliberate configuration. The licences you already hold usually cover far more than is switched on.
Systems and security signals are monitored 24/7. The helpdesk is staffed during business hours, and priority or out-of-hours cover for critical incidents is available depending on your service level. We would rather set that out clearly than describe everything as 24/7.
No — and be wary of anyone who says it does. Compliance is an organisational obligation covering policy, governance and legal interpretation as well as technology. What we provide is the technical readiness underneath it: access control, encryption, logging, backup, incident handling and the documentation to evidence them. Where a formal legal or regulatory opinion is needed, you will need a specialist adviser.
We look at identities and administrative access, device protection and patch status, Microsoft 365 configuration, network and remote access, and backup and recovery. You get a written summary of what is in place, what is missing, and a prioritised list of what to do about it — useful whether or not you go on to work with us.
Yes. Some clients ask us to assess and improve security while another provider continues to handle day-to-day support. It works best when responsibilities are written down clearly on both sides, which we will help you set out.
